During COP29, the FAO and Azerbaijan launched the Harmoniya Climate Initiative, a platform aimed at empowering farmers and rural communities to adopt sustainable agricultural practices in the face of climate change. By uniting over 90 global initiatives and networks, Harmoniya facilitates knowledge sharing, policy improvements, and innovative solutions to strengthen agro-food systems.
Key goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions, enhancing soil and biodiversity conservation, and promoting investments in sustainable technologies. Special focus is placed on supporting women and young farmers to foster resilient rural development.
At GROWER, we stand behind initiatives that prioritize agricultural sustainability and global food security.
